XTX40 Octopus

• This octopus is based upon the XTX40 second stage mentioned previously

• It includes left / right reversibility, coldwater capability and the performance you

would expect from an Apeks pneumatically balanced valve

• The unit has a high visibility yellow front cover, yellow accent pieces and a 36”

yellow hose

• Comes standard with small exhaust tee

• Designed for water temperatures above 50º F (10º C)

XTX20 Octopus

• The ATX50 octopus is smaller and 25% lighter than its TX predecessor. This results

in less jaw fatigue and less drag

• This pneumatically balanced octopus is ideally suited for an over-balanced Apeks

ﬁ rst stage

• The breathing resistance and venturi are fully controlled by the diver so it can be

set conservatively when not in use

• The excellent coldwater performance of this octopus is due to the highly efﬁ cient

heat exchanger on the second stage

• High visibility 36” yellow hose and high visibility yellow cover
