Apeks Regulators

The XTX200 is the ﬂ agship of the Apeks’ ﬂ eet of ﬁ ne regulators.

• Uses the proven “FSR” type ﬁ rst stage as found on the ATX200, Tungsten and

Black Pearl models

• Features a bright chrome ﬁ nish

• All medium –pressure ports are now 3/8” so that the reversible XTX second stage

can mount to either side of the ﬁ rst stage

• The over-balancing feature allows the medium pressure air in the hose to

increase at a rate faster than ambient pressure resulting in superior performance

• Comes standard with an environmental dry kit which keeps water and contami-

nants out as well as makes the model more resistant to freezing

• Compatible to EAN 40, new, out of the box

• Although shipped in a standard right-hand conﬁ guration, this second stage can

be reversed into a left-hand conﬁ guration by an authorized technician

• Features new Diver Changeable Exhaust (DCE) System. This system gives the

diver the ability to change from a large exhaust tee to a smaller exhaust tee. The

large tee provides the best exhaust bubble dispersion; the smaller tee is lighter

weight and compact. The regulator comes with both sets of exhaust tees

• Improved exhalation performance and overall work of breathing

• This pneumatically balanced second stage has diver-adjustable controls for

opening effort and venturi control

• Suitable for coldwater use

XTX200

The Tungsten uses the high spec of the ATX200 and protects the unit with

a hard, resilient, durable PVD (physical vapor deposition) coating. It uses

high tech grades of Titanium, Zirconium and Chromium as used on the

highly successful limited edition Apeks Black Pearl. We believe that when

you buy the best, it should last, and PVD gives your Tungsten the protec-

tion it deserves.

• Over-balanced ﬁ rst stage actually increases interstage pressure at a rate faster

than the traditional balanced models to help compensate for denser air

• The satin ﬁ nish gives the ﬁ rst stage a rich look

• The ﬁ rst stage comes standard with a unique “Dry” environmental sealing

system that completely eliminates the need for messy silicone oil or grease

ﬁ lling. It is designed for use in all water conditions. It is ideal for professional use

and for diving in cold or contaminated conditions

• The unique layout of the ﬁ rst stage with its upswept medium pressure ports

allows for ideal positioning of the hoses
